Goettsch Partners is a Chicago-based architectural firm that practices internationally, with additional offices in Shanghai and Abu Dhabi and completed projects on four continents. The firm’s home office occupies the historic Railway Exchange Building’s top floor, with its signature round windows. Local projects include the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois Headquarters, 111 S. Wacker, UBS Tower, 155 N. Wacker, the redeveloped Soldier Field and North Burnham Park, the new music and communications building for Northwestern University, the home for the U-505 submarine at the Museum of Science and Industry, the ape house at Lincoln Park Zoo, additions to the Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium, and restorations of the Wrigley Building, the Civic Opera Building, 35 E.
