Emil Bach HousePrint
7415 N. Sheridan Rd. | Neighborhood: Rogers Park
This compact Prairie-style home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is located in the oldest section of Rogers Park. The home was completed in 1915 for Emil Bach, co-owner of the Bach Brick Company. It was designed as a country house with views of Lake Michigan and a spacious yard. It is one of the last examples of Wright’s use of Prairie-style architecture. The home was the recipient of a recent meticulous restoration by Tawani Enterprises which restored the legendary architect's work to its original splendor. Contrary to its country house origins, today the home is a hidden gem surrounded by the densely-populated neighborhood of Rogers Park.
