Google, was founded in 1998. Based in Mountain View, CA, Google has many office all over the world. Google Chicago moved into Dearborn Plaza at 20 W. Kinzie Street in 2005. The office started out on the 9th floor of the building with a small group of engineers and sales employees. Since that time, Google Chicago has grown to a workforce of over 450 Googlers and encompassing 6 floors of the 17 story building. The 129,000 square feet of space showcases the fun and innovative culture that is synonymous with Google. The office features a number of fun amenities including massage rooms, fully stocked kitchens, game rooms, themed out conference rooms, and many lounges where Googlers are encouraged to meet with each other and collaborate.
Behind the Scenes Access: At Google’s newly constructed 13th floor, you’ll have the chance to visit their reception area, Tech stop, local art display, and 1920’s Speakeasy.
